It all started in 1818 when Nicolas François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon were married, marking the creation of their Champagne House. This has been a family story since the beginning with Louis Salmon, brother of Elisabeth and a passionate oenologist, getting involved in the creation of the wines. Thus, over 7 generations, each family member has endeavored to continue the family tradition, staying faithful to the same motto: "Give priority to quality, strive for excellence".

This unique wine celebrates 200 years of independence and family know-how.

92% Pinot Noir, 4% Chardonnay and 4% Pinot Meunier, of which 50% of the wines are vinified in barrels.

This blend of 8 Grands Crus from the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs is made from a selection of exceptional wines from 4 remarkable harvests (2000, 2003, 2008, 2012). Extra Brut dosage at 4.5 g / l.

To the eye: A pale gold coloring intensity, draped in a dazzling luminosity with golden yellow reflections. A persistent and abundant finesse of bubbles evolving in a disciplined and energetic way.
On the nose: It is the noble and racy expression of a complexity chiseled towards floral notes, orchard fruits and lightly roasted dried fruits (carnation, Williams pear and just roasted hazelnuts).
On the palate: Ample and dense tension at the same time where the texture is revealed slowly under a controlled and exhilarating acidity. The mid-palate offers a distinguished balance, winey almost saline, under the taste impact of careful refining (vine shoot and blond tobacco).
This singular and rare cuvée, under the deep dominance of the great Champagne Pinot Noirs, will develop all its complexity at each stage of its development.
