Created around the 2014 harvest, Krug Grande Cuvée 170th Edition  is a blend of 195 wines from 12 different years, the youngest dating from 2014 and the oldest from 1998.

In total, reserve wines from the House's vast wine library represent 45% of the final blend and ensure the breadth and roundness essential to each Krug Grande Cuvée Edition.

This Krug Grande Cuvée Edition is composed of 51% Pinot Noir, 38% Chardonnay, and 11% Meunier.

In total, more than 20 years of meticulous work were required to appreciate this Krug Grande Cuvée Edition, which represents the 170th ^recreation of Champagne's most generous expression.

This is a brut champagne with the breadth and roundness typical and essential to every Krug Grande Cuvée edition.

The nose reveals aromas of marzipan, gingerbread, and ripe citrus.

The palate is expressive and elegant with notes of hazelnut, nougat, barley sugar, fruit, and citrus jelly. It's pastry-like with almond, brioche, and honey.

A very beautiful, lingering finish of candied fruit.
