Sancerre is a world-renowned terroir. The presence of vines in Sancerre and on the banks of the Loire dates back to Antiquity. In the 12th century, the Augustinian monks of the abbey of Saint-Satur and the counts of Sancerre made known their red wines produced from pinot noir.

The Sancerre wine vineyard was destroyed by phylloxera at the end of the 19th century. Instead of replanting only Pinot Noir, the winemakers added Sauvignon Blanc to Pinot Noir. The quality of Sancerre wine has always been there ever since. The white wines produced from Sauvignon Blanc have been classified as AOC since 1936. 

Grape Variety: 100% Sauvignon Blanc 

Dress: reveals a very fine gold hue, enhanced by delicate green reflections.

Nose: aromatic bouquet opens with floral and fruity notes, blending white flowers with aromas of crystallized citrus, all underscored by a touch of chalky minerality and sweet spices.

On the Palate: the wine is particularly welcoming. It unfolds pure flavors of chalk and crystallized citrus, enhanced with sweet spices, before stretching towards a saline and refreshing finish.
