The Ornellaia Estate was created in 1981 and is located near the picturesque village of Bolgheri, on the unspoiled Tuscan coast. Ornellaia, Estate’s flagship wine, was first produced in vintage 1985. Ornellaia's 'Essence': its natural style, the exceptional quality of its terroir, and the competence of those who work in the vineyards and the cellar. 

Blend: 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc,7% Petit Verdot

Appearance: An intense, deep, and brilliant ruby red color characterizes this wine.

Nose: The bouquet reveals aromas of ripe fruit, notably blueberries and blackberries, alongside black fruit notes. Hints of toasted almonds, cocoa, and Mediterranean shrubs complete this generous aromatic profile.

Palate: On the palate, the wine is generous, full-bodied, and concentrated, with a delicate velvety texture. The whole stands out for its energy and vibrancy. The powerful structure expresses itself with finesse and balance, while the long finish is marked by silky, finely chiseled tannins.
