Chapelle de Potensac is the second wine of Château Potensac. It was created in 2002 under the leadership of Jean-Hubert Delon, owner of the premises. 

This elegant vintage is made from the vines that line the heart of the estate and occupy a soil of small gravels and clay sands.  

Grape Varieties: Merlot 75%, Cabernet Sauvignon 20% and Cabernet Franc 5%

Aroma: A bouquet filled with fresh red and black berries—specifically ripe cherries, strawberries, and cassis. It features classic Left Bank undertones of cedarwood, savory capsicum (bell pepper), anise, and sweet baking spices.

Palate: Medium-bodied and nicely balanced, displaying a very clean fruit core. It balances fruit concentration with a crisp, lively acidity that lends excellent freshness. 

Structure & Finish: Structured around chalky, fine, and firm tannins that give it a tight, linear finish with hints of gravelly minerality.
