Sarget de Gruaud-Larose is the second wine of Château Gruaud-Larose, Cru Classé in 1855

Since its creation, in 1725, four families have succeeded one another at the head of Gruaud Larose: the Gruaud and Larose families, the Balguerie and Sarget families, the Cordier family and the Merlaut family.

This family attachment has been passed on to the employees who often work at the chateau from father to son and from mother to daughter.

Grape varieties: 57% Cab Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 8% Cab Franc, 3% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec 

A pleasant, intensely fruity wine with notes of cherries, black berries, and licorice.

On the palate, it's luscious and dense. The tannins are powerful, yet fine and well-integrated, and, above all, in harmony with the acidity.

A wine that combines richness and freshness.
