The origins of Château Ormes de Pez date back to the middle of the 18th century. Located on the limits of the hamlet of Pez, to the west of the commune of Saint-Estèphe, the estate owes its name to a magnificent grove of elm trees, which have now disappeared. With Château Lynch-Bages in 1939, this is the second property acquired by the Cazes family in the 1930s.

An authentic expression of its terroir, Château Ormes de Pez is a harmonious, spicy and distinguished wine. It seduces enthusiasts with its opulence and roundness. It is a fleshy wine with powerful tannins and a smooth finish.

Blend:  40% Cabe Sauvignon, 50% Merlot, 7% Cab Franc, 3% Petit Verdot

Deep garnet-purple color. The aromatic bouquet expresses beautiful notes of black fruit reminiscent of blackberry and blackcurrant.

On the palate, the wine highlights the personality of Cabernet Sauvignon thanks to a structure with smooth tannins, while the signature of Merlot is clearly present with fruity notes.

The subtle oak influence is evident in the woody notes, adding a lovely complexity. Freshness, elegance, and a velvety texture characterize this great red wine from the Saint-Estèphe appellation.
