Château d’Issan is a Third Growth of the 1855 Imperial Classification. The wine is made from the old vines in the Château d’Issan enclosure in the middle of the Margaux appellation. 

Château d’Issan expresses the exquisite bouquet so characteristic of Margaux and stands out with its suppleness, subtlety, elegance and long keeping potential that come from its unique terroir. 

Grapes Blend:  65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot. 

Visually, it is an intense red color with violet highlights.

On the nose, aromas of black fruits emerge, such as blackcurrant and cherry, followed by notes of wood and vanilla.

On the palate, the attack is direct and fruity, combined with a lovely length, freshness, and the acidity necessary for long aging.

It is a balanced wine with silky tannins, displaying the great finesse characteristic of Margaux wines .
