Pagodes de Cos is the second wine of Cos d’Estournel. It is in reference to the two Pagodas that make up the Castle that this wine has found its name. A 100% gravity chai to preserve the quintessence of the fruit. Les Pagodes de Cos is elaborated with the same care as the first wine: no pump is used during winemaking.

Blend : 55% Cab Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 5% Cab Franc, 4% Petit Verdot

A fine and subtle bouquet with spicy and fruity nuances. Pleasant notes of licorice wood, black berries, and pepper are followed by a touch of graphite.

On the palate, the wine is creamy and full-bodied. It has precise tannins that develop slowly and, along with its structure, ensure excellent aging potential.

This structure lends the wine character and supports the aromatic expression. Fruity and mineral (graphite) notes linger on the finish, which is persistent and of good intensity.
