It is the most famous wine from Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné. This Côtes du Rhône takes its name from the 45th parallel north which passes two kilometers south of the cellars of Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné. 

In the village of Pont de l'Isère, a monument symbolizes this line with an inscription:  "Here begins the south”. This wine has been bearing this name since the early 1950s.

Pale yellow in color with green reflections, it reveals itself on the nose with aromas of white flowers and the freshness of citrus. 
In the mouth, it will be full and warm with nice freshness on the finish.
