In 1987, Thomas E. Bulleit, Jr., fulfilled a lifelong dream of reviving an old family bourbon recipe by starting the Bulleit Distilling Company. Inspired by his great-great-grandfather Augustus Bulleit, who made a high-rye whiskey between 1830-1860, Tom left successful law practice and risked everything to experience life on the frontier. Today, we're not the only ones who are glad he did.

Bulleit rye is an award-winning straight rye whiskey with a character of unparalleled spice and complexity. Released in 2011 it continues to enjoy recognition as one of the highest quality ryes available. 

Russet in color, with rich oaky aromas. The taste is exceptionally smooth, with hints of vanilla, honey, and spice. The finish is crisp and clean, with long, lingering flavors.
