Pavillon Blanc du Château Margaux is a dry white wine produced by the famous Château Margaux vineyard, located in the Médoc in France. The production of Pavillon Blanc is a centuries-old tradition at Château Margaux. Sold in the 19th century as “sauvignon white wine”, it has existed under the brand Pavillon Blanc du Château Margaux”since 1920. The twelve-hectare vineyard is composed solely of sauvignon blanc. It is located today on a very old plot of the property.
The Pavillon Blanc of Château Margaux is renowned for its elegance and finesse, characterized by aromas of exotic fruits, peaches, and flowers.
It also has a nice structure on the palate, with moderate acidity and a long, fresh finish. The Pavillon Blanc of Château Margaux is a wine for aging, which can be kept for several years before being consumed. It is often served with fish and seafood dishes.
