The origins of Château Ormes de Pez date back to the middle of the 18th century. Located on the limits of the hamlet of Pez, to the west of the commune of Saint-Estèphe, the estate owes its name to a magnificent grove of elm trees, which have now disappeared. With Château Lynch-Bages in 1939, this is the second property acquired by the Cazes family in the 1930s.

An authentic expression of its terroir, Château Ormes de Pez is a harmonious, spicy and distinguished wine. It seduces enthusiasts with its opulence and roundness. It is a fleshy wine with powerful tannins and a smooth finish.

Blend:  42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 51% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot

A medium to deep garnet-purple color, displays aromas of black cherry and blackcurrant over a core of fragrant earth, cooked tea, and tobacco, along with a hint of forest floor. 

Medium-bodied, the palate is bursting with juicy dark fruit, a grainy texture, and a long, mineral finish
