A very pretty reference nestled in the heart of the Pomerol appellation, Château Le Bon Pasteur was founded in the 1920s by the grandparents of the famous oenologist-consultant Michel Rolland. The latter took over in 1979, implementing numerous technical innovations which quickly contributed to its international reputation.
Accompanied by his wife Dany, they have never ceased to magnify the grandeur of the terroir of their estate, offering complex wines rich in elegance. Today, the team is led by Benoît Prévot and Michel Rolland remains the consultant.
Grape Blend: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc.
A beautiful, dense, purple color with violet highlights.
On the nose, the complexity of the bouquet gradually unfolds, revealing notes of black berries evolving into hints of licorice while maintaining a remarkable freshness.
On the palate, the creamy and luscious character is revealed in a silky structure. The long and persistent finish demonstrates a precise tannic structure.
