In 1738, Louis XV, impressed by the quality of cognac Rémy Martin gives his Royal Agreement to the House to plant new vines. This decision rewards the excellence of Mr. Rémy Martin's know-how. In order to pay homage to this momentous moment in the history of the House, the cellar master Georges Clot decided in 1997 to create an original blend inspired by the pioneering techniques of the House: he selects distilled spirits on lees in small copper stills and aged in oak barrels from the Limousin forest, very rich in tannins. Thus was born 1738 Royal Accord.
Behind classic appearances, Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal reveals an exceptional richness and softness, expressing all the know-how of the Maison Rémy Martin.
