It all started in 1885 with the purchase of a plot of vines by Louis Roux in the village of Saint-Aubin. His grandson Marcel Roux, born in 1927, plays a prominent role in the development of the Estate by extending it over more than 25 hectares in Saint-Aubin, Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault and Santenay. He is also a forerunner in the marketing and influence of the Saint-Aubin appellation around the world.
