2020 Château Pichon Comtesse Lalande Pauillac P7 - Bordeaux Red

St Barth’s Wine

The Château Pichon-Longueville Countess of Lalande has the particularity of being straddling two communes. Its vineyard of 85 hectares is therefore mainly on the Pauillac appellation, in the heart of the Médoc Bordelais, but also for 11 hectares on the AOC Saint-Julien. This specificity gives it a particular soul, which is found in its exceptional production, among which we find a 2nd Grand Cru Classé and the second wine of high quality.

Passed into the hands of different owners since its inception in the 17th century, all have the heart to preserve the incredible terroir that is offered to them while bringing a touch of modernity. Thus, the wines of Château Pichon-Longueville Countess of Lalande navigate between tradition and technicality, offering faultless years after years.

Grapes Blend: Cabernet Sauvignon 77%, Merlot 17%, Cabernet Franc 6%

Nose: Frank and of a beautiful purity, the nose mixes fragrances of blackberry, blackcurrant and peony with tasty notes of cedars typical of the appellation.

Palate: Beautifully elegant, the palate seduces with its perfect balance between power, length, fullness and a tasty touch. Aromas of blackcurrant and blackberry coat the palate, whose chiseled tannic structure delicately combines precision and sapidity.
