Cloudy Bay winery was established in 1985 by David Hohnen. Cloudy Bay Vineyards is a winery in the Marlborough region of New Zealand. The winery is primarily noted for its Sauvignon blanc wines and has played an important pioneering role in establishing New Zealand's and Marlborough's reputation. Cloudy Bay's first commercial vintage was produced in 1985 from purchased grapes, and the company later planted its own vineyards.

Initial scents of white florals and fresh herbs are supported by those of sweet stone fruits and honeysuckle and completed by a flinty intriguing minerality.

Juicy, with mouthwatering notes of nectarine, kaffir lime and lemongrass. A round and creamy mouthfeel complimented by a gentle minerality, while the nervy acidity contributes to a youthful and vibrant finish.
