Argiano's vineyards are located in the Montalcino area where a perfect microclimate assures a super ecological system. Varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Sangiovese are planted. These grapes have not traditionally been part of the Montalcino area.
Dr. Giacomo Tachis, probably the most well-known winemaker in Italy today, is the oenologist. His legacy includes Sassicaia, Tignanello and Solaia, to name a few.
Deep ruby red in color. It is medium-bodied with a good concentration on the mid-palate. Elegant in the mouth, it is well balanced with tempting flavors of red berries, violets, menthol and earthiness.A generous wine with smooth, velvety tannins that will satisfy all Sangiovese lovers.
