2019 Pouilly Fuissé Climat En Carementrant Bret Brothers - Burgundy White

St Barth’s Wine

in 1947 La Soufrandière, an old property located in Vinzelles, in the southern part of the Mâcon wine-producing region ( Southern Burgundy ), is purchased by Jules Bret, a Professor of Medicine.

The high altitude of Vergisson (around 350 meters) and the southern exposure of the Climate “En Carementrant” undoubtedly make this great terroir one of the best in the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation. The 50 to 60-year-old vines face due south, under the majestic Roche de Vergisson cliff.

The color is pale yellow.
The nose is intense, with notes of dried fruits, exotic fruits, limestone rock and fine woody notes.
The palate is delicate, with a dense but light texture, a slightly pronounced acidity, for a long fat and fruity finish.
