The Château Talbot vineyard is a real treasure since it extends over 110 hectares of vines in one piece, in the heart of the Saint-Julien appellation. These vines enjoy an ideal location since they are located on the edge of the Gironde estuary and rest on hilltops of Médoc alluvial gravel. 5.2 hectares of the Château Talbot vineyard are dedicated to the production of white wines.
The Caillou Blanc ( White Pebble ) wine from Château Talbot pays homage to Georges Cordier who had the idea of replanting white grape varieties in the Médoc at the end of the 1930s.
In a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, Caillou Blanc from Château Talbot invites you to discover the expression of a dry white wine from Bordeaux with great aromatic freshness and great liveliness on the palate.
