2018 Corton Grand Cru Bonneau du Martray C2 - Burgundy Red

Family-owned for nearly two centuries, the vineyard Bonneau du Martray is located on the hill of Corton, an escarpment topped with a forest, inside the area of origin of the appellation Corton-Charlemagne. The Hill of Corton overlooks the Grand Cru vineyard of Corton and the town of Aloxe-Corton in the Côte de Beaune.

Aromas of licorice, blackberries, dried flowers, anise and rich soil tones.

On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, supple and lively, with good depth at the core, racy acids and an elegantly chalky finish.
