Legend has it that the name of this imposing estate of Saint-Julien is attached to that of Connétable Talbot, a famous English man of war, defeated at the Battle of Castillon in 1453. It is since this oldest area of the Médoc that product Constable Talbot, the second wine of Château Talbot. Its 2015 vintage is made up of an assembly that gives pride to the Merlot (64%) and is accompanied by 36% Cabernet Sauvignon.
It reveals notes of red cherry, white pepper and mint that bring a greedy and fresh side. Woody nuances come to be married to this beautiful aromatic palette.
Ample and silky, crunchy with lots of fruit and elegance associated with some flexibility throughout the mouth.
