The second largest cru after Brouilly lies in one village only. Here, Gamay produces generous, robust wines which are fruit-forward with notes of cherry, kirsch and apricot. With a good cellaring potential Morgon comes close to a Burgundian Pinot Noir. Varietal 100 % Gamay
The color is deep and intense. The nose reveals nice aromas of cherry pit and kirsch. In the mouth, fruits have a good concentration. The wine is supple and the tannins are silky with a good length.
