Patrick and Christophe Bonnefond are the sons of a winegrower who sold grapes to the local negoçiant (Jaboulet). In 1990, they took over the family Domaine and made the decision to produce the wine themselves. Their offerings very quickly seduced the critics. These two brothers shy away from the media, preferring a quiet life cultivating their vines on magnificent terroir and producing elegant wines.
This Condrieu is produced from 30-year-old vines. The berries are macerated for a short time in their skins and the wine is stirred weekly and matured for 10 months in new barriques. 100% Viognier.
Pale yellow colour, intense aromas typical for the viognier grape, notes of yellow stone fruits, yellow flowers, sweet spices, vanilla and a hint of wood. IC
The creamy texture provides volume, balanced by a subtle acidity that gives the wine good aging potential. With its aromatic persistence, full-body and suave texture, this is a superb wine for food.
