In 1989, the Bouchara family, from the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry, bought the property. Upon arrival, she undertakes heavy investments. Huge works will be started by the rehabilitation of the tower and the integral construction of the technical facilities. The nobility of the places is thus united to the nobility of the wine thanks to the important and regular efforts undertaken in the vineyard. Blend: Merlot 50%, Cabernet Sauvignon 40%, Petit Verdot 10%.
The second wine from Château Tour de Pez is actually pretty close to its older brother in terms of quality. Elaborated with younger vines of the property (25 vs 35 years old) and also aged in oak barrels for 12 months, it still shows a very nice complexity.
Ruby color. Aromas of currants, strawberries and spices. Hauts de Pez has strong tannins while remaining tasty. Fruit flavors and the aromatic, expressive finish.
