2015 Château Chasse-Spleen Magnum Moulis en Médoc - Bordeaux Red

St Barth’s Wine

The Château Chasse-Spleen is located on the label of the Moulis-en-Médoc area. The peculiarity is that this wine is a vintage of a woman of character through Lucrèse Castaing and Rosa Ferrière. Although forgotten by the classification of 1855, Chasse-Spleen was classified as Grand Cru Exceptionnel, which does justice to its quality. It remains the first of the bourgeois crus until 1970. The ephemeral classification of 2003 confirmed the remarkable quality of this vintage. To this day, the property is run by Céline Villars-Foubet, granddaughter of Jacques Meulaut, co-founder of the Taillan group.

The fruits dominate on the nose, then the vanilla and toasted aromas characteristic of barrel aging.

On the Palate aromas of cocoa. The wine has a beautiful yet woody intensity supported by the fruit. The wine has a good length. 2015 vintage it's is delicious to taste now for lovers of powerful wines.
