At the end of the 18th century, the Hippolyte de Maurès account of Malartic acquired the Domaine de Lagravière, a château with a famous terroir, in order to produce quality wine. In 1850, the estate was bought by the Ricard family who renamed it Malartic-Lagravière in honor of the account and kept it until the 1990s with the arrival of the new owners: the Bonnie family. Alfred-Alexandre and Michèle Bonnieare a Belgian couple who love enology and are passionate about wines.
Grapes: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc.
Beautiful structure and a nice balance and has an intense red color. The nose reveals soft aromas of fruit and spices while on the palate the flavors of red and black fruits end on a more woody note, long in the mouth. A wine, fleshy and fresh, in the right line of Pessac-Léognan with less aggression and more greed.
