This history began in 1725 when Marie Braneyre, the only daughter of the founder of Branaire-Ducru, married Pierre Du Luc, Councilor of King Louis XV. The family of Pierre Du Luc, second owner, has kept the property for two centuries. When Jean-Baptiste Braneyre acquired the estate in 1680, it was a property of excellence. Duluc is the second wine of the Château Branaire-Ducru, 4th Cru Classé since 1855, and was born in the 1990s. Composed mainly of grapes from vines under 15 years old, this wine respects the “house signature” and aims at being as accessible as possible.

Blend: 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc. 

Impressive structure and aromatic balance. A supple wine full of freshness, with notes of red and black fruits, aromas of spices and cocoa that can be drunk as of now. This second wine reveals itself as a true competitor to many first wines,
