Founded in the 13th century by the Benedictines, Château Carbonnieux is one of the oldest in Bordeaux. In 1956, Marc Perrin acquired the castle which became classified in 1959 in Red and White. Today, Eric and Philibert, his grandsons who took over to follow up on their work Antony. Blend: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon , completed by 25% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot.
Bursting with freshness, displays a very expressive aromatic bouquet, on the richness of aromas of small red fruits.
On the palate, the attack evolves into a delicacy to reveal a mid-palate with soft flesh, on a material seductive by its softness and density which stretches out in a finish offering a beautiful aromatic persistence. A Château Carbonnieux full of charm in a vintage marked by finesse.
