Over the years, l’Abeille has developed a strong identity of its own. Crafted with the same careful attention as Château de Fieuzal, it is conceived for immediate enjoyment. Its fruit stems from the same vines as the first wine, grown with the same degree of environmental care.
The vinification is different, however, producing reds with real structure and richness. The blend for the reds a majority of Merlot, which explains the generous, easy-going character of L’Abeille. Blend: 50% Merlot, 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot.
Deep and brilliant red, a very aromatic and very complex nose, on red fruits, blacks, vanilla, spices, toasted bread, some woody notes.
On the Palate has a beautiful density and beautiful length in the final. A very balanced wine with great evolution potential.
