2008 Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Jeroboam 3L - Champagne

St Barth’s Wine

Perrier-Jouët was founded in 1811 in Epernay by Pierre-Nicolas-Marie Perrier and his wife, Adele Jouët. One of the most prestigious houses in Champagne, the firm was shipping wine to Great Britain by 1813 and to the United States by 1837.

This cuvée Belle Epoque 2008 is a crystalline vintage whose subtlety and generosity highlight the precision of the Perrier-Jouët style.

It is a cuvée that reveals floral notes of magnolia, and honeysuckle as well as citrus aromas, wrapped in notes of ripe pears and peaches. It is a nose that is carried by a hint of minerality.
On the palate, its frank attack, with a beautiful crystalline freshness, revealing aromas of white fruits and notes of almond milk.
